EcoLine is a product of pioneering research in membrane housing that aim at maximizing the performance of water treatment against cost.
EcoLine membrane housing are manufacturing by a unique “Octagonal Groove Forming Technique” that enables side ports to be seated against a flat sealing surface thus providing the best fit for side ports.
EcoLine membrane housing is available in pressure ratings of 300 & 450 psi with side port options. These vessels are equipped to meet all your low pressure applications for Reverse Osmosis, Nanofiltration, Ultrafiltration & Microfiltration.
What is OCTA
How do you fit that surfaces into a circular membrane housing and provide multiple side ports? This was the challenge we set to solve when we began working on the OCTA. Research showed that an Octagon, besides providing the best fit, would also allow for 4 flat sealing surfaces, each 90 degrees apart for side port mounting. Thus was born OCTA. ColdLine™ OCTA housings are manufactured using a unique “Octagonal Groove Forming” Technique.

1. Minimized Leakage
The Octagonal Shape which is integrally formed without cutting any glass fibers, provides a flat sealing surface for superior and reliable sealing of side ports.
2. Advanced End Closure
The Most advanced Single-piece Head, made of Engineering Thermoplastic:
l Helps reduce leakage points by eliminating permeate port sealing joints.
l Provides superior chemical resistance.
l Enables high operating temperature of upto 190ºF
l The Single-piece head reduces the number of spares, thus reducing maintenance cost.
l The flexible design of the permeate piping allows use of a 1” FNPT threaded or 1.5” grooved IPS connection in the same head.
3. Easy Service & Maintenance
The corrosion resistant Threaded Side Ports made of Stainless Steel, are easy to mount and allows quick & easy onsite maintenance and replacements, thus reducing downtime.
4. Quick Locking Mechanism
The user-friendly, Quick-Lock-System eliminates the requirement of special tools for removal and lets you access the membranes in seconds.
5. Improved Head Sealing
Head Seal, which is captured in the head / sealing plate gives better sealing and avoids head seal roll. It also eliminates head leak defect..
6. Integrally Wound Locking Groove
Integrally wound locking groove gives enhanced end-margin strength & sealing area formed by the mandrel, thus providing better head sealing.
